Natalia Hauser joins Shelf

ISSUE II | Shelf Introspect

Natalia Hauser is the kind of digital powerhouse the creator economy was built for

You may recognize Natalia Hauser from TikTok, where she’s been captivating audiences since 2019, or from her insightful TEDx Talk, "Influencing is a Full-Time Job" which she delivered during her junior year of high school. But Natalia’s journey started much earlier—with @natisstyle, an Instagram page she launched to share her outfits, not realizing it would snowball into something much bigger. Since then, Natalia’s seamlessly blended content creation, marketing expertise, and cultural connection, taking her talents from Duke University all the way to New York City, where she now works in beauty marketing at Westman Atelier while also helping brands and aspiring creators master social media through her Nati Hauser Consulting business.

Natalia isn’t just shaping trends—she’s building community. With deep Venezuelan roots and a heart split between South Florida and Caracas, she brings authenticity to everything she does, embracing Spanglish, celebrating her heritage, and reminding her audience that we’re all just figuring it out together. Read along to find out some of the different media that’s shaped Natalia into one of our favorite creators online, and make sure to follow her on Shelf!

ShelfMAG: What artist would you consider an immediate red flag if you saw it on someone’s Shelf and why?

@natisstyle: I’m not big on country music (with a few exceptions thanks to four years of college in North Carolina). So it’s less of a red flag and more of a gentle no thanks from me lol.

ShelfMAG: Your 2025 anthem and why?

@natisstyle: Una Noche en Caracas (Tauro)” by Rawayana and Bomba Estéreo. Rawayana is one of my all-time favorite bands—they’re Venezuelan (like me!), just won a Grammy, and I’m seeing them live in June. Their song is inspired by Caracas, where I visit family yearly, and they even threw in "Tauro" (Taurus in Spanish and my astrological sign). It honestly feels like they made it for me! Hahaha.

ShelfMAG: Any guilty pleasure books or shows?

@natisstyle: I'm addicted to the Empyrean and A Court of Thorns and Roses series. My friends and I started a senior-year book club and our first book was Fourth Wing; I was so skeptical of fantasy—cut to me fully obsessed and currently reading the new book Onyx Storm like my life depends on it. I don't remember who I was before these books.

ShelfMAG: The item on your Shelf most likely to stay there forever?

@natisstyle: The genre indietronica. It perfectly sums up my music taste, and I’ve yet to find a vibe that competes. It’s a forever kind of love.
