ShelfMAG: What movie makes you cry without fail?

@elsalafollette: Past Lives by Celine Song, that movie had me bawling my eyes out at the end. the movie is a bit slow pasted but hit all the right heartstrings for me. Also love Greta Lee in New Girl.

ShelfMAG: What is your current hyper fixation song?

@elsalafollette: “Crush” by Ethel Cain! i’m so late to the Ethel party, but I just started listening to her music a few months ago cause it was on a Severance-themed playlist I was listening to when waiting between weekly episodes.

ShelfMAG: What song would wake you up if you were in a coma?

@elsalafollette: honestly “Nice For What” by Drake. that was my most listened to song last year and literally no one believes me cause it doesn’t fit what they think my music taste is.

ShelfMAG: What book do you wish you could read again for the first time? Why?

@elsalafollette: It would have to be Cats Eye by Margret Atwood. That girl gets all the love for The Handmaid’s Tale (an incredible book btw) but her other stuff doesn’t get enough credit. she is an incredible writer and I loved how Cats Eye pieces together as a story — I haven’t read anything like it. [side note: also read The Edible Woman by her. its her first book & so so good]

ShelfMAG: What movie could you watch 1000 times in a row?

@elsalafollette: Easy A. someone once told me that their first perception of me was that they could tell was a Emma Stone fan….I had never once spoken of Emma Stone, but i appreciate that it’s the vibe I give off.

ShelfMAG: The item on your Shelf most likely to remain there forever?

@elsalafollette: Any Lorde—“400 Lux”, Melodrama, Stoned at the Nail Salon”. idc. any era of Lorde hits. I would listen to of her albums on loop everyday if I had the time.
