Eli Taylor-Lemire joins Shelf
ISSUE II | Shelf Introspect
Eli Taylor-Lemire is part of a new wave of founders reimagining what it means to connect in the digital age
As the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of POSH—the event platform that’s quietly revolutionized how Gen-Z socializes—Eli has helped grow the app to over 4 million users and more than $95 million in ticket sales. POSH isn’t just another tool for event planning; it’s a social infrastructure built for a generation craving offline connection. Before tech, Eli cut his teeth behind the lens—running a boutique photo-video agency that created content for top fashion magazines and major artists under Sony and ROC Nation. That same eye for storytelling now informs POSH’s design-first approach to event organizing. Alongside CEO Avante Price, Eli launched POSH as an answer to the clunky, impersonal platforms that dominated the space. What began as a grassroots tool for NYC college kids has grown into a cultural engine—matching attendees to relevant events and giving first-time organizers the same tools and visibility once reserved for professionals. For Eli, the mission is clear: restore intimacy, spontaneity, and joy to our social lives, one IRL moment at a time. But today, he’s here to unpack some of the different media that’s shaped his career.
