Carrie's Best Outfits from Sex and the City

It’s no secret that Carrie Bradshaw is a fashion icon. We'll never know how she got the money to pay for so many designer clothes and shoes! What matters is that she consistently gave us fashion history with each episode. I will be taking inspiration from Carrie for my Summer outfits. 

10. Season 2, Episode 17: “Twenty-Something Girls vs. Thirty-Something Women”

Carrie said, “This IS Texas!” If you look at all of the items separately, you wouldn’t think they would work together. Somehow, the hat brings it all together. 

9. Season 4, Episode 2: “The Real Me” 

Carrie wears this Dolce and Gabbana dress during a fitting for the infamous fashion show when she falls flat on her face. The dress doesn’t get to see the light of day beyond this fitting room, but one cannot deny how stunning she looks. 

8. Season 2, Episode 7: “The Chicken Dance” 

Carrie wears this incredible DKNY dress to a wedding, which she attends with Miranda and Big. This could be considered another version of the famous naked dress, and it’s so cute and chic. A rare moment of Carrie in flats. 

7. Season 3, Episode 14: “Sex and Another City”

The LA episodes gave us incredible cameos (Fellow three-name legend, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Matthew McConaughey) and incredible outfits. This swimsuit cover-up Carrie wears lives rent-free in my mind. 

6. Season 2 Episode 18 “Ex and The City”

Carrie is the epitome of effortlessly chic, and this dress proves that. Never mind that five seconds later, she knocks on the window of a restaurant like an uncultured heathen.

5. Season 2 Episode 18 “Ex and the City” 

Carrie looked so good here. Big was talking to her instead of celebrating his engagement with Natasha. I bet she wore white to get Big to picture her as a bride. It almost worked, but at least she got the last word with “and you never did.”

4. Season 1 Episode 6: “Secret Sex”

One of the most iconic outfits from the entire series. An outfit so cute SJP had to wear it on the red carpet! 

3. Season 3, Episode 17: “What Goes Around Comes Around” 

John Galliano did his big one at Dior with the newspaper dress. Sorry, Jenna Ortega, but you’ll never be Carrie Bradshaw walking in slow motion down the street.  

2. Season 4 Episode 15 “ A Change of Dress” 

Carrie might have broken Aidan’s heart for the second time in this dress, but she looked good doing it! I think this dress is better than both of her actual wedding dresses. 

1. Season 3, Episode 18 “Cock-a-Doodle-Do” 

This outfit is quintessential Carrie Bradshaw. Fun and flowy, off the shoulder to be a little flirty, a fun print. Even her hair, shoes, and bag are perfect. In true Carrie Bradshaw fashion, she ruins the outfit by doing something crazy. This time, it was falling into the pond with Big. Such an unfortunate moment for a show-stopping dress.
